Well...I'm sort of into surprises if I have absolutely no inkling whatsoever that said surprise is going to be taking place, but if I have the option of finding out the surprise ahead of time? Sign me up.
That's what happened with this birthday present that Craig got me last week:
Yep. That's a Vitamix. And no it is not my actual birthday.
You're probably wondering if my birthday is in a couple of weeks and the answer is no. It's not until August 12th.
But, my husband knows me so well that he knew I would rather have my present early so I could enjoy the next two months of summer filled with smoothie/frapaccino/margarita deliciousness.
So, he gave it to me early and I'm in love. The smoothies are super good, but let's be real...my true favorites are the margaritas (how-to margarita video coming soon!).
So the moral of the story is: surprises are overrated, the Vitamix is not. Also...my husband is pretty great. The end.

I loathe surprises...its because I have no poker face at all, if I don't like it, I can't hide it! But I would take this one! Speaking of smoothies...any good baby smoothie recipes you may have used with Fern?

ReplyDeleteWe have the Blendtec and make smoothies every morning for breakfast. I am shocked at just how much we use it...great investment!
ReplyDeleteWe have a vitamix too and love love love it. We've made powdered sugar and endless smoothies in it.
