Last week Fern had her first swimming experience
and she kind of (super) loved it.
Fern's cute neon swimsuit just kills me.
As does her smiley face.
A picnic lunch was involved.
(Rainier cherries are my favorite!)
....as was a slush puppie from the snack shack.
Our friend Kristina came too.
There was a lake and a wading pool and we hung out in the pool.
Fern enjoyed kicking her little feet and watching the big kids splash around and I had fun seeing Fern experience this special "first". Everything is more fun with babies :). I can't wait for all of the fun summer adventures we're going to have!

These photos are so sweet! So fun. Also that blanket is beautiful. Would love a quilt like that for picnics.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos Lauren. My favorite is the second to last one with Fern in the water. The ruffles on her suit look all lit up in the water! She's just totally adorable in that suit. This was such a fun day. We'll have to do it again soon. Love you girls!
