fill in the blank friday.

If you missed last week's Fill in the Blank Friday, 
you might have missed the fact that it's gotten a revamp.


From now on I'll be providing a prompt, basically one blank, as a jumping off point for a blog post.  Anyone who wants to play along can use this prompt and then make it their own by writing as much or as little as they want and even adding photos or whatever else they see fit.  Then, when you're done with your post, just link up!

The theme would be....



A murder 1920's Gatsby style murder mystery party, because I've always wanted to go to one and I love an excuse to dress up and seriously...drop waists, finger waves and feather adorned hair pieces? Pure perfection!


I would host it....

In an old 20's style art-deco'ish theater that had been converted into a ballroom, because something that specific totally exists, right?

We would eat....

Fondue and champagne because those are two of my most favorite foods ever.  Yep.  I just said champagne is a food.  Don't even worry about it.

It would look like....
Complete over-the-top 1920's glamminess. Totally not my usual style, but it would be amazing!

    Oh man, I haven't been to a murder mystery party since like junior high (a friend had one as her birthday party theme). I would LOVE to go to one as an adult. Great idea!
