This weekend I met up with some other lovely Portland bloggers.
We had brunch at Tasty n Sons. It was delicious, but I am terrible at remembering to take photos of things these days. So all you can see are some of our little name tags, and my donut and delicious fried chicken sandwich. YUM! Apparently we all know where my priorities are (ummmm....food please!).
Meeting other bloggers was surprisingly un-awkward.
(Even though I kind of hate mingling with big groups of people I don't know.)
Can't wait to see the non-food-centric photos that some of the other girls took with their non-iphone cameras!
Here are the other bloggers who were there:
What's your view of blogger meet-ups?
Good? Bad? Awkward? Awesome?

What a cool opportunity Lauren! I've never gone to one but it sounds like great fun! I'm with you though...mingling with big groups of people is not my thing but I think when you meet up with like people who are doing the same thing as you do (blogging) and are passionate about it then it could be something special.

Sounds like fun. I've always wanted to meet other blogger friends in real life.
ReplyDeleteI love blogger meetups, it's so fun meeting people that you have such a fun thing in common with.
ReplyDeleteI was actually just in Kansas City for a diabetes blogger meet-up. It was so much fun! Who were the Portland bloggers you met up with? Would be cool to read more of them, I'm from Portland and love reading about people in my hometown. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never met up with bloggers in real life, but it looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have gone to that! I got the invite, but I was busy that morning. Hopefully there will be another blogger brunch soon?

ReplyDeletenice. i have been thinking about doing something like this since we all seem to run into each other. it probably would have worked better when the sun was visiting portland.
ReplyDeleteI love blogger meet-ups...bloggers in real life are almost better than bloggers that you only know via their blog.

Well lady if we hadn't had a little blogger meet up I would have never of known how good of friends we would be. You are the best! And, I am so happy we met and so happy we got to see you this weekend even though it was too short!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that it was not awkward! I am hosting a meet-up in San Francisco in a couple weeks! I hope it goes as well as yours :)
ReplyDeleteBummer! I wish I'd known! I totally would have come for the food... I mean to meet other bloggers! =)

yum...donuts!
ReplyDeleteBlogger meet ups are kinda fun. Sure it's awkward at first but once you settle in, it's like you have been friends for years.
The Vegas blogger meet up I went to in the summer was awesome, so much fun!
FUN! I only live 3 hours away from Portland... if I wasn't such a freaking busy bee I would've LOVED to meet up with everyone!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a blogger meet up... I think I'd have a lot of fun at one as long as I don't get too star struck! I've been following so many different blogs for so long and if I actually saw someone that I've been reading about for so long I might totally geek out on them.
