Happy Friday friends!
I can't wait for the weekend. Hoping for a relaxing one after all the wedding hubub last weekend and the busy week.
Here are a few things I've been up to this week:
*Doing a fun polka dot shirt DIY project - SO cute!
*Finding the perfect pair of jeans
*Ogling cute baby sweaters (and even more baby sweaters!)
Hope you're all enjoying the final days of summer before fall "officially" starts, but with the return of school it feels a little like fall already, so in the vein, I've decided to do school theme blanks this week. Hope you enjoy!

1. My favorite grade in school was my junior year of high school. I got really involved with my church youth group and made a few really good friends instead of trying to fit in with the "cool kids" .
2. My favorite teacher was Mr. Arend - my high school history teacher because, he was just so passionate about what he was teaching and it was contagious .
3. The highest level of education I have completed is a Bachelor's of science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences (my emphasis was in Social Services) .
4. School lunches for me were usually homemade and even in high school my mom would leave us little notes on our napkins which I always loved .
5. The amount of money you'd have to pay me to go back to high school would be at least enough to buy a (NICE) house. I hated high school and wouldn't want to go back and relive all the drama and teenage angst. That's 4 years of my life that I'm glad to be done with .
6. A few things that will always remind me of going back to school are: Saddle shoes, lunch boxes, lunchables, backpacks and new clothes .
Happy weekend friends!

Lauren, I'm not sure whether you're purposefully posting fill in the blank Friday on a Wednesday or not...? Though this week does seem to be flying by :)
ReplyDeleteI loved junior year. It was just a great year and I think at that point you have high school figured out and can start to try and be happy and enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteHi Lauren,
ReplyDeleteSchool sure does bring back memories. We´ve added this weeks FITBF to FitBlanks.
Have a great weekend.
I love that your mom threw notes in your lunch even in high school. That's so cute!
ReplyDeletethanks for hosting Lauren!
ReplyDeleteLove the new button :)
I just have to say that Fill in the Blank Friday is one of my favorite link-ups. Happy Friday! :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids, especially the oldest, don't pack their lunches very often but when they do, I try to sneak in a doodle or short note on their napkin, lol.
ReplyDeleteyou never know the impact that you have on someone's life until you don't see them anymore. i am sure you will remember that teacher and many others for years to come. and I linked up. Thanks so much for hosting this every week. It is the highlight of my week.
ReplyDeleteI would agree with you completely no part of me ever wants to go back to school & relive those years!I hated them too... I hated all the drama & childish games & never could I ever imagine dealing with that crap again... Thank god I now am older no longer in school & no longer have that drama or inmature people in my life ;0
ReplyDeleteI would have answered number 1 exactly the same - how random! Can't believe my 10 year anniversary is next month.. Most likely won't be going to that!
