1. My favorite color is grey .
2. My home decor color palette includes a lot of greens, browns, greys and yellows .
3. Other people always tell me I look good in the color red...I think a lot of really dark-haired brunettes probably get that too. And basically all jewel-tones .
4. The color I detest is is pink...and purple. I think I OD'd on them during my childhood. I blame Lisa Frank .
5. If you were to look in my closet most of the colors you'd see would be neutrals with a couple of brighter pops of color. A lot of my closet is grey and black .
6. A color that I simply cannot pull off no matter how hard I try is most yellows. I have olive toned skin and yellow makes me look super washed out and kind of yellow. It's not a good look...unless I use it sparingly with accessories or find the absolute perfect yellow .
7. The color of my favorite dress is white...and lacey. I know lacey isn't a color, but I thought it was worth noting .

HAHAHA - I am just now coming around to purple after about 15 years of it being my LEAST favorite color. I am not a pink fan, unless it's an accent color & not on EVERYTHING. And i too should totally blame Lisa Frank. ;)

I remember last year I was wearing a jewel toned cardigan and cami and my boss commented on how good the colors look on me. I love jewel tones BUT sometimes I hate that I don't look as good in pastels.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of jealous that you wear white so well. I look absolutely terrible in it. I think it has something to do with my skin being ghost white. When I was a kid, two mean boys used to call me Casper.
