I hope you'll understand, but Fill in the Blank Friday is being postponed this week, because....I wanted to introduce you to the newest member of our family!
Fern Winter Hartmann
Born Sunday, January 15th, 2012, at 3:32 pm
8 lbs. 7 oz. and 21.25" long
I apologize for the lack of blog posts this week, but we've been busy getting to know our little lady. Regular posting should resume next week, along with Fern's birth story for those of you who are interested. The short story is that I had a wonderful experience - 12 all-natural hours of laboring at a birthing center brought this cuteness into the world. It was amazing and by far my proudest accomplishment to date. I can't wait to tell you guys about it and to encourage any of you considering a natural delivery - if I can do it, I'm pretty sure that anyone can :). I also can't wait to tell you about how amazing my husband was - seriously...I love that man on another level that I never even knew was possible. He's been taking such good care of Fern and I - such a good daddy and husband that man is!
